The partnership involves using Vicinity's purpose-built, custom-upfit all-electric industrial vehicle, the VMC 1200, specifically designed for Lafarge's needs. Lafarge Canada is starting with two VMC 1200 trucks in its British Columbia Aggregates and Ready-Mix Operations and plans to integrate more VMC models in 2024, demonstrating their commitment to sustainable transportation solutions in the construction materials industry.
