Europe EV sales

EVs are surging in popularity in Europe, with pure electric cars outselling diesel vehicles in June 2023. The region saw a 66.2% increase in EV sales compared to the same month last year. EVs now hold a market share of 15.1% in June, up from 10.7% in June 2022. Overall, EV sales in Western Europe rose by 42.0% from January to June. Norway leads in per capita EV adoption with an 83.1% market share. The top five manufacturers by sales were Volkswagen Group, Stellantis, Renault Group, Hyundai Group, and Toyota Group. Volkswagen and Toyota were the leading individual brands.
